Good place for a quick hike, some trails aren't well marked especially if you want to do an increased distance.

A pretty nature preserve with two lakes and about 4 miles of trail. Trails are fairly flat and wide but also rocky. The eponymous lake is large, there's no perfect viewpoint, although a couple of trails go right along it's shore. Definitely worth a visit and if you're up for it, hit the far end and take a climb up to Pine Mountain where the views are great.

Abundance of distance of trails to ride. However, it lacks drops & jumps that other nearby local trails offers. There are rockface rollers & plenty of tech, though! Good place to come rack up singletrack miles.

Very large state park with several gorgeous trails. There are trails going around the perimeter of the lake as well. You can easily spend several hours hiking some of the trails here because of how long they are.
