  It was my mom’s 1st day today
  (Maryann Cohen) in the lock down unit at BELLHAVEN. The staff was great. I can’t even remember all the names from Heather to Marie…I think there was a Maria … Shaimee ?

  The rooms are big enough, clean, have just about everything needed. The staff are professional, accommodating and kind. Food is delicious and plentiful. I am comfortable having a resident there, knowing he will be well cared for.

  I cant say enough great things about this nursing care facility!! Thanks to the admissions coordinator, Marie, who without her amazing help and compassion, my sister who has Parkinsons and Dementia would still be in a nursing facility where her level of care was not good. Upon my sisters arrival Marie sent me a picture of my sister who was smiling already, and I thought she would be crying and agitated, but she wasnt. Since she has been there my entire family have noticed how clean she is kept, even her hair is nicely combed, something they did not do at the other facility she was in! From the nursing staff, aides, recreation, and much nicer enviornment, it is a complete turnaround to where she was, and the family is so appreciative, happy and relieved knowing she is now in good hands. I owe my deepest gratitude and appreciation to Marie in Admissions who made her transfer possible, it took a while to get her there, but I always had faith that she would make it happen! Thank you so much Marie and to your staff at Bellhaven Nursing Care!

  My Mom is a long term patient at the facility and I am very happy with the care she has been given all this time. The staff are all dedicated and professional and caring. I am so happy that I made the decision to have my Mom taken care of as she deals with aging and her mental and physical challenges. Thank you Bellhaven!

  I was looking for a safe place for my mom as she needs to be in a locked ward. Initially, Toni took me around and then I got to speak with the charge nurse who asked me questions and said my mom should fit it great there. After that I met with Marie who also asked me questions and went to the facility she had been in to meet her and make sure that she would fit in at Bellhaven. My mom is still transitioning but is already happier here than she was at her prior location. Bellhaven is clean, has snack of the day that my mother happily ate today. Yesterday I also met Dylan who is a speech therapist and worked well with her and asked me a lot of questions which was great. Initially my mom didn’t have a remote in her room for the tv and when we mentioned it, she had one in about 15 minutes. They really care about their patients. I was so scared to move her, but am so happy with my choice. Thank yo to everyone!!!
