  If you follow the navigation, it brings you to a place that rents snow mobiles and other equipment during the summer. We found an entrance for a trail, that I am sure in the winter is used for snow mobiling, about 1/2 mile closer to the Prattsville Bridge on the right, as you are coming from Prattsville. We hike up it a mile and then back down. It was a nice hike, mostly up to start, but not too steep. We did not go all the way to the top.

  State forest offering hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, hunting and snowmobiling opportunities. For this visit I hiked up Ski Run Road to the summit of Bearpen, then down to Heisinger Rd. This state forest tends to receive more snowfall than other areas.

  Trail up is a snowmobile trail, nothing technical, great views from the top if you walk around and look for the viewing spots at the top.
