  I have been having an issue with a Heatilator gas fireplace not lighting, I contacted several companies in Suffolk County and they were all very busy and would not answer any simple questions on the phone. The earliest service appointment I could get would be in February!! It's only November!!
  
  Then I contacted Chris, at Beach and Stove Fireplace. He also was very busy, however when he had time he called me back and rather than schedule a service appointment which would be costly, he gave me a few suggestions to check.
  
  I was able to resolve my issue which turned out to be a bad wall switch. It's great to know that there are people like Chris, whose interest was to help the customer first, rather than to try to make a buck at all costs.
  
  Should I have any need tor fireplace or stove services in the future, Chris will get my business!!

  I needed to share an experience I had with the owner from Beach Stove and Fireplace because I found him very helpful, friendly, courteous and most importantly honest. All I needed was some questions answered about a gas fireplace in a condo we moved into due to the fact I only previously owned a wood burning fireplace. We actually walked in the door close to closing time yet Chris not only answered our questions, he also looked up our model fireplace (even though he doesn't carry that manufacturer) and e-mailed us the owners manual. I also was inquiring about an additional part for the fireplace I thought I would want. Chris told us he would look to locate the part the next day and that is exactly what he did and e-mailed us the info in case we wanted it. Even though we just came in with questions and not any kind of purchase, Chris spent his time answering them and made us feel comfortable. I don't usually write reviews, but because I went to another fireplace store where I was treated like I was not important enough and was sent on my way without answers, I needed to write this for someone who was willing to help and treated us as a friend. Thank You Chris and I would recommend your business for sure!

  My experience at Beach Stove and Fireplace was great. Chris was very helpful. He came to the house any arrived on time. He took measurements and helped us decide on the final look for a new surround for our zero clearance fireplace. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Beach Stove and Fireplace. Chris’ help made for a great shopping experience.
