Don't come here often, but this B&N is always a nice place to visit. With a nice children's section, they always have something for the kids.
love this bookstore. Amazing customer service..I love to see the books before I purchase. Made book selections for the gifts I needed to buy in categories I had zero knowledge. Outstanding=I will be back again very soon. New membership is interesting
Barnes and Noble
We have been looking for a special book and after calling around, located a signed copy at the local Barnes and Noble.
Years ago, I spent quite a bit of time at the local Barnes and Noble. My wife asked me if I wanted to take a drive and I thought, why not?
The customer service person had put a signed copy of a best seller on hold for me… and my wife wanted this book. When we arrived I was taken by how large this Barnes and Noble actually is…I had forgotten just how big a bookstore can be… it looked like a museum. I’ll be the first to order on the Big A, but nothing beats the experience of exploring the local Barnes and Noble.
The representative behind the counter was friendly, professional, had a smile on her face, and very pleasant to deal with. She made sure to let us know that the purchase rewarded us with a buy one get one free cookie coupon with our receipt. What I’ve always loved about B&N is not just the books, but the chance to have coffee, a snack and review a book or magazine before purchasing. Each person was very personable and made several recommendations - try the toffee cookie with white chocolate and macadamia nut.
We arrived pretty late and knew we had a long drive home in the rain, so we didn’t stay but will be back when we have more time. I forgot how much we enjoy - and miss -the traditional, local bookstore.
What we missed so much, besides the wonderful and wide book selection, is the warmth you feel when you walk through the door. You’re made to feel like you belong there, and there’s so much to to see. There’s still a place you can go to grab a book or two, pull up a chair with a beverage, and always feel welcome.
