  Dr Nico helped me with a terrible hip pain that was bothering me for months. Before Barefoot I went to a Rheumatologist, tried physical therapy. Nothing helped.   In May of 2022, I developed severe sciatica pain starting from my right buttock down the back of my right leg. I was Diagnosed with sciatica/piriformis syndrome. After multiple visits with 3 neurologists, chronic medication, receiving PT, massage therapist, and finally a pain management doctor, I was still in pain after 7 months. 7 months may not seem like a long time compared to some people that have been in pain for years, but not being able to sleep, sit or drive without being in pain felt like a lifetime. The only thing that would make the pain bearable was standing. I was beginning to consider ending my life just to get rid of this pain. After my visit with the pain management physician, the last option would be a steroid injection that required sedation. I was hesitant about the injections knowing that they are usually temporary or can even worsen your symptoms. I was so desperate to be pain free, that I decided to consider a chiropractor. I have always been fearful of having my spine manipulated, but I googled chiropractors and piriformis pain and fortunately came upon a video of Dr. Chris from Barefoot performing adhesion removal treatment on You Tube. Everything I saw and heard on the video was exactly what I needed. At his point, I was popping Meloxicam every night and Tylenol every few hours, and I absolutely did not want surgery. I researched Barefoot Rehab for the rest of the night (since I could not sleep anyway) and could not find a reason why I shouldn't give them a try. I immediately called the next day for an appointment. All I can say is Thank God for Barefoot Rehab. Immediately after even my initial examination, I noticed I had less pain. After my first few treatments, I did not need my pain relief meds as much and now I am off all pain medications. Thank you, Dr. Chris, Dr. Nico and the entire staff at Barefoot. Because of you I am now pain free. Thank you for saving my life.

  Barefoot Rehabilitation =Healing. It is a combination of knowledge, skill, practice, awesome humans and a welcoming atmosphere. I absolutely love the plants, tea, and the kalimba, it’s such a vibe. The most important part is the awesome humans. I have the pleasure of being a patient of Dr. Magrabi‘s. I have had base of the skull and neck pain that I have not had success with alleviating in the past…that’s until I decided to stop watching Barefoot Rehabilitation on Instagram and to make an appointment. I can say the day I had my first hands-on appointment was the day I started to feel hopeful again. I have recognized that there is a skill there that I have never experienced. Dr. Magrabi is able to find my pain without me saying much. It’s validating when your doctor can actually feel in your body what is causing your pain. let’s just say I am #Grateful.

  I heard of this clinic after watching a YouTube video from a person I follow. She came from far away to get treatment for migraines. After this, I did a little digging and I called them. Next thing I know, I was getting my first treatment. I drive from Ozone Park, NY every Tuesday and Thursday for my treatment. A few months ago, I was not able to have a day without a headache, neck pain, numbness and tingling on my fingers and arms. Migraine episodes every week that put me in bed and I was not able to be a mom for my 3 kids. I got so sick that I couldn’t eat, drive, cook for 2 to 4 days at a time. I had tried all natural remedies, prescription medication, acupuncture, Chiropractor and have seen multiple neurologists and doctors to get help.
  The day of my first treatment I woke up with a bad headache and neck pain. After the treatment, my headache was almost gone. I felt so relieved and I knew this was going to work. After some treatment, I have not had a migraine in 4 weeks and counting.
  Dr. Joe and everyone in the clinic, make sure I am comfortable and they ask me if there is any other way they could help me with. They go the extra mile to make sure I am ok and doing well. The only medication they prescribed to me was DARK CHOCOLATE COVERED ALMONDS and the best part is that I get to refill those every time I want.
  I will 100% recommend them because they are now part of my family and the best part is that they were able to return “ME” to my family.

  Barefoot has helped me out of my chronic shoulder pain after years of suffering. After years of physical therapy, acupuncture, etc, they were finally able to target the muscle adhesions and nerve pain that needed work. It should be normal practice, but there are very few practitioners of this therapy in the west, and although it is expensive, if you can afford it it is very worthwhile. My pain is 80% reduced, and I have much more mobility than I have in years. Dr. Chris and Dr. Joe and Greg and Lauren and all of the staff are very warm and friendly, and they genuinely want to help people become healthier.
