I have been training with Paul for over a year and it has been an awesome journey! From analyzing my gait cycle, to further exploring interests of mine such as Muay Thai, Striking and Kickboxing. I have also explored FP Body Mechanics with Paul which has allowed me to reconsider traditional forms of weighting lifting and exercises so that I may train within the planes of motion our bodies were meant to operate, while still getting a great workout in.
Paul’s time and dedication to his work is very admirable and he is articulate to ensure that all his clients gain a holistic understanding of this style of training.
Highly recommend for anyone interested!
FP training is Great. It builds strength and alignment through building core and realigning your posture / gate. Paul is excellent and caring trainer who tailers the training to your specific needs.
Whether it be engaging in a one-on-one personal training session or participating in a group class, my experience at Bare Training Systems has been equally positive. Paul (owner of Bare Training Systems) does an excellent job fostering a welcoming, healthy environment; one that encourages collaboration, appreciates questions/idea sharing, and emphasizes the importance of forming long-term goals.
The biomechanics-first approach that is the cornerstone of Bare Training Systems (i.e. training with a primary focus on biomechanics), is what makes this place and Paul stand out from other studios and personal trainers. In taking a systemic approach to training, I’ve learned the importance of modifying my training from isolation to integration of the body. Through posture work, corrective exercise, and dynamic exercise I’ve noticed increased muscular integration and improved posture.
In addition to biomechanics, training here has exposed me to the world of striking and grappling. Having initially had limited striking and grappling experience, I immediately appreciated Paul’s approach in teaching the components of each skill. He breaks down each concept in a manageable way at a reasonable pace. The emphasis is always on executing proper technique in a safe manner.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who values their health. You’re sure to leave each session with Paul with a greater understanding of your body, and a greater set of practical skills to carry with you for the rest of your life!
