  We came to TBOGC in Copake several years ago for a more personal (and less "corporate") banking relationship. We were also looking for more convenient hours of operation. We certainly have not been disappointed and continue to enjoy their full range of banking services while on a first name basis.

  I have been banking at The Bank of Greene County for many years. Why, because they still have that home town feeling. What does that mean - it means when there is a problem, I can get it resolved without jumping through hoops. When I go to the Copake Branch, they know my name. That is important because we have established a relationship. There is a wonderful feeling when you walk through the door. I am a landscaper and have mentioned this bank to many of my Copake Lake city clients.
  Suggestion: I think that a couple of the Bank of Greene County managers should reach out to the Homeowner Associations that are around the lake and introduce yourself. I have come across too often the city person that waits till they are going back to the city to get cash. That is incorrect. If you wish to reach out to me, ask Natalie at the Copake Branch.   I joined the Bank of Greene County over 5 months ago. The staff were very helpful in getting my account setup. I've had questions regarding an issue I had and I was given very clear, concise answers.
  The at the Copake branch are friendly and courteous.
