  Magical place. It’s like a small maze in a bamboo forest. If people knew about it they’d want to have parties here. And it’s dog friendly.

  This is such a beautiful oasis at the edge of Rutgers Gardens. When you walk into the bamboo forest you feel almost like you're in a different world. It felt almost 10 degrees cooler in the shade and was very peaceful. I can imagine that when the stream is flowing after it has rained recently, there is likely a wonderful atmosphere in the forest.

  It's free. It's local. It's beautiful.
  
  Walking through the bamboo forest makes me feel like I'm in a faraway land. Makes for a great photo spot. There are so many nooks to explore, all offering something different. If you're nearby, you just have to make a point to visit! Definitely great for the whole family!
