Bagel House

Growing up in NYC I became accustomed to a certain quality of bagel. We’ve been in NJ for about 7 years now and I can honestly say this place made one of the best bagels I have had in years. Looking forward to seeing your business thrive. Thank you!!!!

I grew up spending summers at a bagel shop in central jersey since my parents worked at one…the bagels were made fresh every morning and people lined up the place at all times. The art of the bagel is unique to NJ and a few other places… for the most part, most bagels in NJ get the job done and I guess I could say that from experience. The Bagel House though… they offer a bagel unlike many other places! It’s a shocker to find such good place this far out in the area, but I’ll swear on everything that their egg and cheese sandwiches are within the top 5 that I’ve had here in the state!

My go to has usually been a pork roll egg and cheese and I agree with others that the pork roll isn’t Taylor brand and tastes different than the original. Quite frankly though… I like it! It’s still got the tanginess of the original Taylor brand but with a spicy quick to it, coming from the peppercorn that’s in it! I digress with everyone that it doesn’t taste good… it’s a solid choice and it’s a well made spin-off that isn’t a turnoff.

Overall, the Bagel House is a true gem of the area and their bagels are one of a kind based on experience. Needless to say, that I’ll be a customer for years to come if they keep things as they are 👍🏼.

I ordered 2 bagels today over the phone. I asked for scrambled eggs, provolone, on an everything bagel. I was curious how this would go. Never been here.
I definitely do not need Wawa in my life any longer. The breakfast sandwich was so good my boyfriend said no Wawa, no McDonald’s, I want this for now on.
That’s it Bagel House we surrender. You won us over today! Thank you. Truly awesome to have a great bagel place close to home.

Update 7/28/2023

I continue to order from here weekly. This week instead of an everything bagel I chose an Asiago one. I still got scrambled eggs and provolone cheese. Plus a side of home fries. I uploaded 2 new pics. This place has been so good to me every week. I hope these workers are paid fairly and decently because they are the back bone of your business. All the employees are always so kind and accommodating. I hope they all know us customers value them!
If I could make a request. In the yogurt parfait can we get a non Greek yogurt and Vanilla flavor? I thought your parfait was lackluster due to the unflavored Greek yogurt. Please consider bc I would buy prob 2-4 weekly :) your granola is very good. Thank you Bagel House!

Awesome bagels. Young lady was super nice who took our order. While we waited for our order (Which was really quite fast) we spoke to Wally who was super knowledgeable and offered us a glimpse of one of his fresh bagels being pulled apart. Super fluffy. I ordered an everything bagel toasted with pork roll egg and cheese and Sue ordered a plain with pork roll and cheese with ketchup. Pricing was really reasonable. The sandwiches were awesome with only one caveat, the pork roll had peppercorns. Neither one of us like peppercorns so maybe next time a bacon. Great place…

This place is FANTASTIC! First time visiting and I wish I lived closer! Their French Toast Bagel is literally too die for! Stopped in with no idea what I was getting and the ladies behind the counter were so helpful in ordering. Got two egg sandwiches, 1/2 dozen, homefries, fruit cup and it all great! I will definitely be back for a trip just because!
