  Raquel gave me one of the best manicure I've ever had in my life and Belinda gave my the perfect eyebrow tint and wax. I also unexpectedly broke down in sobs on the eyebrow table, due to a recent family tragedy, and Belinda hugged and consoled me.

  I used Avant girl for two of my bridal events this summer and they were great! They came in early since my bridal shower was in the morning and did a great job at communicating about the appointments. Kathleen was AMAZING! She did my makeup for both occasions and my hair for one event and she did my mom’s makeup and hair and it looked beyond stunning!! I showed her inspiration pictures and she truly listened to what I wanted and I loved it! Highly highly recommend using Avant girl!!

  I come to the shore every year for the summers so don’t ask me why it’s taken me so long to make my way into avantgirl but I finally did for the first time on Saturday and I loved it!!! I had a blowout with Gina. My hair is very curly and she blew it out beautifully. As we got to talking she was explaining how the salon has a charity organization called Toast Pink and all the work they do for this organization and I was just so impressed at that point I wouldn’t have cared if my hair came out a mess. Another young girl came over and joined in the conversation and i felt like we were all friends. It was a very welcoming experience. I lost my grandfather to cancer 4 years ago so I felt really good knowing I was supporting a small business who not only supports their community but started their own organization. I live in Philly full time and I will be making Avantgirl my new salon even if it means driving the hour and a half just to get my hair done. I hope everyone finds their way to avantgirl and if you do ask about their charity! It’s truly amazing what these girls do.
  
  Also whoever washed my hair, I don’t remember her name, but she was awesome. There’s nothing better than a good hair wash when you’re getting your hair done

  i was on the wait list for my appointments since i called sort of last minute. They called me to let me know I wasn’t forgotten they just didn’t have any openings yet. For that i held out hope that they would have an opening and I didn’t look elsewhere. I’m glad i did because i ended up getting an appointment. It wasn’t back to back i had a small gap but i was just so happy they were able to get me in at all I didn’t mind waiting. They had a cute little room with coffee and water. One of the clients was celebrating a bachelorette party and had brought in champagne which they offered me a glass. I guess it was my lucky day! Literally everything about my experience was awesome. From the staff to the other clients. It was the best start to my bday weekend. Dara did my makeup and made me feel like a princess for my birthday party and Gina gave me the prettiest birthday hair. as i was leaving everyone was telling me how beautiful i looked. I swear i had never felt more confident. I’m so happy I found Avantgirl this summer. I already booked my next appointment to make sure i got in. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. I know the summer season is a crazy time of year for businesses on the shore and the ladies up front were very accommodating. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Thank you for helping make my birthday such a great day. See you in august!
