(April 20, 2022, 10:35 am)My family and I recently moved to NY from Boston and have been receiving constant sticker shock on just about everything. I was pleasantly surprised to find the one exception here which was getting our cars serviced at Autobahn. In addition to the extremely reasonable prices for our BMW and Audi, K and his team at Autobahn delivered the lost art of customer service to perfection. Honesty, transparency and going out of their way to help....from start to finish this place blew me away. Finding a good, trustworthy mechanic is tough - but you won't have to look any further than Autobahn Motors.

(February 21, 2022, 3:07 pm)I grew up in area but live about 5 states away where I have a VW mechanic that I trust without question. I have been in the area for the last 4 months for a job and needed some work done on my car. I went and “interviewed “ K and Chris and was glad to see Audi’s in lot and they understood VW’s are a little different to work on than most cars. I had them do front brakes as a test job and all seemed good. I then had them replace the water pump housing that had started to leak slightly.
I have a tough work schedule but was able to get car in day after thanksgiving for repair. The price was fair and way better than dealer but still more than was in my head. About 4 or 5 weeks later, the same symptoms returned- occasional coolant smell, I would sometimes find coolant on under plate and have to add coolant.
I was pretty stressed as I need my car for work and it runs for most of the day and it was a lot of money. They pressure tested system and found the replacement part defective and honored the 12,000/12 month warranty, without any kind of fight! That shows me they have honestly and integrity. They are now my go to mechanics when I’m in NY. -

I recently started a job near Pelham NY, and heard an engine knocking noise with intermittent hesitation on acceleration. I drove around for a while and explained to various mechanic shops the issue I was having and that I lived around 1.5 hours away, but was told repeatedly that they didn't have time for me. Then, at 4:20pm on a busy Wednesday afternoon, I pulled in front of Autobahn Motors and explained my situation. The concerned young man who was rather busy, pulled my car into the bay within five minutes and inspected my car to determine the problem. He then took a good amount of time to conduct a thorough test drive to which he was able to determine the solution and even repair my car right then at a very reasonable price! He also asked other pertinent questions to assess my vehicle's history which has over 90,00 miles as to carefully maintain the longevity of my vehicle and prevent future issues. Having a decent background on cars, I knew his questions and opinions were completely on par. In fact, he also explained how my last mechanic fixed only one part of a two-part brake issue; thus causing inferior performance which could have been mitigated if I knew that valuable piece of information back then. He gave other highly informative pieces of information to keep my car running well in years to come and I even scheduled another visit for a needed transmission flush that I had totally forgotten to address, but lucky that the gentleman reminded me of. For this level of care and respect I will be bringing my car to this shop moving forward-- even if it means a lengthy drive from home. For anyone who is honest and willing to share information to save me money and headaches in the long run surely deserves my business! 👍👍👍
