Ascendia Pharma is proving itself to be a company with a friendly and communicative work environment. (May 14, 2022, 11:56 pm)I am currently an employee working at Ascendia Pharmaceuticals as a group leader in the AR&D department. It is my pleasure to be a part of Ascendia’s team. In over a year of working for the company, I have found many positive aspects and hence giving 5 stars.
Food: Ascendia celebrates and sponsors special occasions for every employee, including birthdays and anniversaries. Barbeques and ordering food are very common to celebrate each occasion.
Benefits: Ascendia Pharmaceutical provides 100% health, dental and vision benefits premium. The company also offers each employee a paid cellphone and phone line for personal or company use. Company provides a decent 401K, profit bonus, excellence bonus, gift cards, holidays, vacations, sick days, personal days and many other benefits.
Work: Work time is flexible, no work in the weekends and great company culture. There are opportunities to participate and to work in innovative, complex, scientific, and engaging projects.
Growth: Company is growing very fast. Within one year, I observed company doubled its employee size. Ascendia always pay attention to personal growth of its employees. Hard work is recognized and honored.
Leadership: Dr. Jim Huang, who is the owner of Ascendia, is always very generous as well as a great scientist. He supports us in all possible ways. Dr. Asif is executive director of AR&D. Discussing for 5 minutes with Dr. Asif solves pretty much all of my analytical issues. Great people and balanced team. -

We all have a lot to offer to Ascendia since we are in an exciting growing stage that began as a formulations company and is expanding rapidly with new Sterile and Non-sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities under construction and being planned for phase III clinical and commercial manufacturing.

(May 1, 2022, 10:18 pm)I just received an offer from Ascendia Pharmaceuticals and was shocking to see all these negative Google reviews. My experience with Ascendia Pharmaceuticals was completely opposite, I would say it is the best interview experience I ever have.
My interview was on Good Friday, I was very curious to see that there were lots of kids playing games outside, why there is a daycare center in the industry area? It turned out that the company allow parents bring their kids to work because there was no school on Good Friday. I also found there were more kids playing ping pongs inside when I toured the facility, and there was a lactation room for nursing mothers. I worked for a larger company in Canada, and we don't have any of these privilege. Ascendia Pharmaceuticals is very thoughtful and generous.
Last I have to mention Dr. Asif, the executive director, he is such a kind person with a heart of gold. I have no idea how to get a TN visa and how to arrange my family, he gave me so many very thoughtful suggestions. I really appreciate it! I will definite give a 5 stars for the company and the people.
