(May 7, 2023, 5:55 pm)This Theatre is more like a cross between a retail space, open bar and popcorn stand.
The entire business has been remodeled and upgraded. All of the theater's have been revamped from floor to ceiling. The sound system is spectacular. And the seats are all electronic leather recliners. I would give them a 10 out of 10 for favorite theaters I would go to. -

(May 3, 2023, 8:57 pm)There is a full bar and the food is VERY good. I do however miss the pretzel bites, stuffed fried dough, and churros they had last summer. (I love fried sweets!) Contrary to a recent review, the staff were very nice and attentive. I believe it was one girl and three boys working who seemed to enjoy the job and were very helpful. Yes, they're college and high school kids. It's a movie theater, not a luxury department store. Of course there's kids working there, and all were very kind and cleaning up the concession area regularly. There weren't too many people working, as every place is understaffed these days so it is understandable that the theaters weren't immaculate. Especially since almost every seat had this god awful plastic on the bottom that caught all the popcorn or candy you dropped and get stuck. The only complaints I have is that the women's bathroom is quite dated compared to the whole place which is revamped and had a makeover. None of the stalls have hooks and a few were dented up. I had no place to put my bag and I wasn't about to set it on the tile that looked like it was from 1983. I saw the cleaners which looked to be from another company completely avoid cleaning the bathrooms as well. My husband said the same for the men's, which he said was ugly and small. The AMC in Plainville redid their bathrooms in the last 10 years and are very nice, would be nice if the owners of Apple did this as well. Not only that, but some tiles in our theater were chipped and the light strips next to the stairs did not work due to what looked to me to be faulty wiring. These should be changed out ASAP as it was hard to see going up and down the stairs.
All in all, a good theater but it's easy to see where the owners took the easy way out in updating. With all the money they're making from increased prices, it should be easy to afford some well needed updates. -

Seats were comfortable with reclining options and allowed a 100% view of the screen; everything was clean, volume was expectedly loud but not deafening, and we learned we could have bought tickets right there on site without pre-booking online to see a movie. Love the addition of the lobby bar for adults which includes premium labels and one or two beers on tap and more in their refrigerated cases. Shelves of candy for the kids and adults with a sweet tooth.
Only flaw was the sign on the counter that said the kitchen was closed. We arrived early to try their burger and something else but seeing that notice we quickly went around the corner to eat a fast meal. Returning for the film, the person who was perhaps the manager overhearing us saying we would have eaten there told us the kitchen was open and she would have made us anything off the menu. It's a small menu (see my photos) but something for most people wanting more than popcorn or licorice. Nice employees.
