  I had the opportunity to hike with the IHC 7 miles from here to Anthony Wayne Recreation area. It is worthy to spend some time here hiking.

  Beautiful lake & well maintained. The views are terrific & the hiking trails are great. Though the weekends can get packed especially in the peak of summer, the picnic area & beach areas are much, much smaller than Lake Welch (also in the area). This means that the lake & beach area is much cleaner & quieter (this is also because the park rangers enforce the quite...love it!). The bathrooms are also kept clean. The park rangers are professional, courteous & friendly. I recommend coming here during weekdays...less crowds & better overall experience

  Clean and great trails. Hundreds of birds and wild life are in these woods!! Respect that you are in THEIR home! Not the other way around!!

  Easy terrain for all ages. Fun outing to go on if you have a few hours to spare.

  LOVE this place!!! There is a shallow beach you can bring your children to, numerous parking places to enjoy this large scenic state Park, places to ride your bike, and of course awesome trails!!! Part of the Appalachian trail so it's a good place to stop and explore, and this trail is high and rocky so if you are feeling adventurous it's definately a good one!!:)
