The store looks unassuming from the outside, but they have a HUGE selection of different types of flooring and the employees are incredibly knowledgeable. I spent a while choosing a wood floor, and Nicole helped me through every step of the process. In terms of customer service, helpfulness, and inventory, Anthony's is better than any other place I visited.

I call 3 different companies - one didn't show up, the other one call and cancel it because they say it's not going to make much money for them. and Anthony's - send Jim - who were kind and really professorial. he explain how much and why - and what he recommend for us - we had good price, and job was done in professional way.

The 3 men who actually did the flooring were professional, courteous & very neat (Paul, Chris & Rocco).
Courtney & Jim (sales) very helpful & patient with me, for my subflooring had a problem.
Please if you need flooring, hire Anthony's in Pt. Washington, NY. -

(May 25, 2018, 10:31 am)I can't imagine any other business that is better than this one for sanding and staining floors. Not only did they call me back right away (which some businesses don't do), but they came for an estimate within 3 days and started work the following week. I was especially grateful because I had a wall -to- wall rug removed from my large living room and all the furniture , including piano and other decor, were stacked in my dining room and family room. It was important to me to have this done quickly. The crews over the 3 days span of service were terrific guys and very professional. They had to match the stain used in the adjacent dining room which had been done over 25 years ago. It was an excellent job. In addition, there were a couple of little spots on the new saddle which I had noticed after all was dry, and they sent me someone to do that little fix in 2 days. I highly recommend Anthony's. Some other floor refinishing businesses could stand to learned from them about what excellent customer service is all about--especially having the courtesy of returning phone calls .
