  Anthony and Son's is excellent. Their bread is outstanding. Their restaurant has great food and service. They also have a terrific Italian market in the Bakery/Restaurant/Store. We have eaten in their restaurant many times. We've utilized their catering frequently and we are there at least once a week to pick up bread. It is delicious 😋 Now with all that said I wish they had gluten free bread (I can no longer have gluten 😞) I do sadly realize they cannot make a GF bread but I can dream... Anyway, Anthony and Son's is worth a visit. Go there I believe you will be happy you did.

  Absolutely fabulous sandwiches, pastries and avocado bread!!!!! Stopped in on our way from Massachusetts to North Carolina. Worth going out of your way for this gem! D

  I only have positive things to say ~ generally I get their #16 chicken salad sandwich it's the BEST ever. The employees are efficient, the facility is neat and so clean, and the aroma of the food is mouth watering ! The deli counter guys have a great sense of humor : I not only leave with my food, but also with a laugh !! Absolutely a
  5 star rating !

  If you’re from downstate or NJ and you’ve never been to Fat Paulie’s, so what you’re doing in go. It’s the only place in the capital region where we can get a legit Taylor Ham, Egg & Cheese sandwich. And it’s amazing! If you’re from upstate and you’ve never been, your taste buds will thank you. Taylor Ham is like s gift from the heavens in our house. You can hardly find in a grocery store let alone in an eatery on a breakfast sandwich. And if that weren’t enough to sell you, they use Anthony and Sons bread. There’s something in the water downstate and NJ that just makes hero rolls, bagels and pizza dough taste better! Sorry but it’s true. The beautifully baked bread compliments all of Fat Paulie’s great hero sandwiches. Our favorites are the chicken parm and the eggplant parm. And our wheat allergy sufferer loves the Michigan cherry salad, which is always a pretty mix of colors and flavors, and very filling, especially with chicken added. Don’t forget to try their fresh mozzarella! It’s too good to put into words.

  9/22/21 update: #1 sandwich- packed with goodness!
  
  9/14/21 update: #5 sandwich and some octopus. Ooh yeah really good!
  
  5/8/21 update: #3 sandwich, really good & another olive focaccia for the ride into work.
  Stopped in for the first time. Got a chicken sandwich and focaccia.
  Both were very good. Friendly staff and great selection of food.
  I've had cookies and octopus from here that friends have shared with me.
  Looking forward to stopping in for more food to go. Easy off and on from I-80.
