My senior cat, Lucy, had been struggling with a variety of issues. She had very limited range of motion in her neck, a lot of issues walking/standing without falling over, and a lot of nose and eye discharge (but no infections present). She had been receiving acupuncture and cold laser therapy which gave some relief but I was still looking for more. Enter Dr. Shaw! My poor Lucy's neck was essentially "stuck" and her pelvis was also completed twisted; one side tilted one way, the other the other way. After just one treatment, I noticed a big improvement in Lucy's range of motion in her neck. We are at treatment four, still continuing her acupuncture and laser as well, and the discharge has subsided, she is walking better, and her QOL is definitely much improved. She even joins us for her naps on the couch again, which she stopped doing. Would give 100 stars if I could!

I took my senior beagle-Bassett , Billie, to Dr. Shaw several months ago and we could not be happier. I adopted Billie when he was 12 and unfortunately did not have a lot of medical background on him. He had a bad hernia, incontinence, stiffness, and would shake and have problems relieving himself. After 2 years of trips to conventional vets, the most we could figure out was that he had an inoperable hernia. I decided on a whim to try doggie chiropractic. We are from Sussex County and make the hour and a half trip to see Dr. Shaw every 3rd week. Our first visit was very thorough. Billie JUMPED and skipped back to life just after his first visit. Even though he’s soon to be 15, he runs around like a puppy after his visits. All of my family and friends see a noticeable difference. Even though his hernia is still present, we have been able to minimize his discomfort and get on a good routine. Billie lets me know when he is ready to go back. I would HIGHLY recommend doggie chiropractic to anyone and would recommend Dr. Shaw. She is very gentle and caring and loves billie just like he was her own!

At first I was skeptic of canine chiropractic treatment, but after just two visits with Dr. Shaw, I am a firm believer. My labrastaff, Law, pinched his lower back nerves in February 2022. He was paralyzed for almost a month. He started regaining his mobility between anti-inflammatory/pain meds. As any person knows this is not a permanent solution. I noticed that Law had a huge hump in his back when he walked, and his left foot would constantly roll under. He could no longer go for his 3-mile walks, nor could he run/play because he would be out of breath and struggle. This broke my heart and caused Law to go into depression. I spoke to my veterinarian, and he suggested canine chiropractic treatment. After contemplating, I filled out the online form on Dr. Shaw’s website. She immediately responded and suggested that I have my veterinarian fill out a form. Once my vet did, Dr. Shaw contacted me about Law’s first visit. We spoke a good thirty minutes on Law’s condition. Dr. Shaw reiterated that this is not a onetime treatment and that it may take several and then maintenance. On Law’s first visit she checked his spine for fractures which he did not have any. Dr. Shaw explained what she was doing and then began adjusting Law’s neck and then his pelvis. Law’s face instantly showed relief and I could see my little boy happy. Dr. Shaw checked-in on Law two days later and I explained that I noticed his foot is not rolling under and he is standing much better. We scheduled a second visit with Dr. Shaw wherein she adjusted his neck and upper back. He now can walk with his pup buds doing 4 laps around the elementary school grounds by my home. He is now running and playing fetch with his pup buds. The other day Law jumped in our bed all by himself. He hasn’t been able to do this since before his accident. I instantly had tears of joy knowing that (1) I made the right decision in canine chiropractic; and (2) it all makes sense. As humans we use chiropractic treatment for a healthier lifestyle. I immediately contacted Dr. Shaw about this wonderful break through. She was just as excited as I was. Dr. Shaw’s bedside manner is impeccable. She treats Law as if he was her own. An impeccable bedside manner!! The fact that she checks-in on Law show that she loves what she does, and she truly cares! I am forever grateful! Let the journey continue.

Krypton has severe musculoskeletal problems. He is on a cocktail of prescription medications and supplements but we are always looking to do more to keep him comfortable. He has been seeing Dr. Shaw for the last couple of months for adjustments and laser treatments and we have definitely seen improvement. He is starting to be able to stand and walk more on his own again. We are happy to have her sessions as another prong in his multimodal therapy regimen.

Dr. Shaw is an excellent Dr. who helped my 11 year old Yorkie. He was limping and struggling to walk. I saw improvements after just 1 visit! . He is running and jumping again like a puppy. I definitely made the right choice. Thanks Dr. Shaw!
