  Great place to meditate and do yoga. Has a wide variety of spiritual programs. The staff are very friendly and it is a warm, welcoming environment.

  If you wanna peaceful and quiet and some yoga, retreat yourself here perfect place.
  All season is good for the visiting. You can't swim in the lake, but they have a very nice swimming pool.
  And just an hour far from the city !

  I’ve been going to the ashram for several years - both as a weekend overnight guest and day visitor. The yoga classes have well trained teachers that include meditation and sound along with yoga. It’s a full mind & body experience, unlike a fitness yoga class. The vegan food is also wonderful in the communal dining hall. Evening chant ceremonies with readings and music are also recommended. An affordable way to reconnect and tune out.

  Beautiful destination to dive into a inner journey! I’ve been going on yoga weekends to Ananda 20+ years and always come back at ease to my hamster wheel live in NYC
  My favorite things are
  * meditation fire ceremony
  *sanskrit classes w Bharati
  *delicious vegetarian meals outdoors on picnic tables by the Lake
  *walking around the lake
  *great yoga classes
  Comfortable beds and great sleep!!

  I guess everyone has their own experience, reading these reviews. Everyone is so nice here, the place is beautiful, every day is a vegetarian feast, coffee and cows milk available, the teachers are superb.
