  We were extremely fortunate to discover An Artistic Taste online today and after a call, arrived as a group of 8 at peak time on Friday night! The Hostess was exceptionally helpful and offered to seat us immediately if they could set us up some tables outside! This suited us perfectly as the 4 kids with us were not distracting to anyone enjoying what seemed to be a lovely atmosphere inside! We enjoyed delightful drinks (cocktails, beers and varied and dreamy non-alcoholic lemonade options) alongside 4 different appetizers, each of which was more delicious and imaginative than the last! Brussel Sprouts out of this world, but also recommend Beets and Buns! Between us we ordered 8 mains (7 different choices, one for a child with complex allergies) which arrived together and all looked and tasted spectacular! We also had 2 vegetable sides (GET THE PLANTAINS!).
  Every plate was delicious, even gaining approval from a couple of fussy kiddos! Portions were generous, wait staff attentive and helpful. Wish we lived locally and could return!! Congratulations to the team and the chef! Thank you for a fabulous evening and especially for your attention to keeping our allergic kid safe and well fed!

  It was so refreshing to find this gem. Though the restaurant is small in size, the portions are large and the vibes are unmatched. We sat at the bar and were very indecisive because of all the marvelous food and drink choices. Destiny and Mia were a great help in recommending both dishes and drinks that literally took our taste buds to higher heights. We had oxtail rasta pasta, lobster mac, plantains, jerk chicken and lobster hush puppies. The flavors were flavoring as the young people say. 10/10, def recommend.

  The food is AMAZING! The brussel sprouts are probably the best thing I've ever eaten. I didn't take a pic because we devoured them before I could. The rest of our meal was also delicious. It's small but perfect because the restaurant flowed really well. I did feel for the one server on a Saturday night. They could use one person up at the bar area to free up a server for the floor, but overall, a great experience and amazing food!

  Small local restaurant, only around 30 seats. From far best restaurant in Harriman NY.
  The place it’s Cousy, clean, the food delicious.
  The minus will be the service, very slow.
  Hope they will change that in the future

  One of the best meals on my week long trip to NYC. Did not expect to find this gem near Woodbury Commons after shopping. A surprise find! Don’t hesitate to skip all the chain restaurants and look up An Artistic Taste. Highly recommended.
  
  The best oxtail and rice ‘n beans I have ever had. Add in a perfectly made Thai sea bass. Great touch to debone it.
