Best answer: IIRC the long term parking is down the hill from the station same as the daily parking but you have to get there before all the day commuters take up the spots. I suggest doing a drive by on a weekend to familiarize yourself and the Amtrak ticketing agent inside the station should be able to help you out.

Where can I leave my car overnight, when traveling from the Rhinecliff, NY Amtrak station? I just moved to Ulster County, NY. Once a week, I have to commute down to NYC and return the following day. I'll be leaving from the Rhinecliff Amtrak station. What do I do with my car? I cant find any helpful...

I cannot personally speak to the Rhinecliff parking, but I have been riding the Amtrak from Albany to NYC for years! At least at the Albany station, there is a parking lot area/parking garage right next to the station where you get a ticket, park, and pay when you return and drive out.
