A meticulous practitioner who produced nothing less than spectacular results. During a visit for new eyeglasses, I discovered the vision in my left eye could not be corrected by glasses due to cataracts which had gotten much worse since my eye exam the previous year. Other complications arose as well but after cataract surgery on both eyes, I now only need 150 or 200 over the counter reading glasses
My eyes have been under Dr. Amasur's care for several years. She is a very caring and professional physician who gives you time and answers all of your questions. She addresses all concerns- especially how ailments in the rest of your body are effecting your eyes.
Most recently, Dr. Amasur did my cataract surgery. It is considered same day surgery- and Dr. Amasur herself called me in the afternoon and then in the evening at home that Friday to learn how I was feeling. When my regular pharmacy told me that they couldn't fill the script because the med was discontinued- Dr. Amasur's staff helped me find a pharmacy that did have it. Most importantly- I am very pleased with the results of the surgery.
Dr. Amasur has also been taking care of my husband's eyes for many years- he is diabetic. I am grateful that he is under her care.
I highly recommend her.

I had been seeing an opthomologist regularly with vision and dry eye issues. Nothing was ever done for me except every 3 month visits with no results. After researching a new doctor, I found Dr. Amesur. She found that I had extensive cataracts but insisted on treating my dry eyes first, with great success. Have had one eye operated in with outstanding results. So looking forward to the upcoming next surgery. She is the best.
