It’s a private ambulance company, that being said do not expect a fire department level type of competition. But you’ll be hard pressed to find better coworkers elsewhere, when a company says “we are a family” and offers you $20 pizza as a “thank you” you might not feel that way. But here you’ll end up finding yourself in a new family of coworkers that eventually become your best friends, companions, and comedians. They say iron sharpens iron, and there’s a whole lot of that here. If you’ve never worked in EMS before, I’d say give it a try. There’s room for advancement and you can make it a career, and meet a whole lot of strong passionate people along the way.

My toddler hit her head and was bleeding very badly and after calling 911 AMR showed up within minutes. I had the best EMT’s to help us! Not only did they help our daughter but the EMT even checked on her at the hospital! He was telling us how he went through a similar situation with his son and he really tried to put our mind at ease. It really meant so much to us. Highly recommend!!!

They work hard n do things that have nothing to do with an emergency. Why ppl call for none medical emergency. To take them out of service for ppl that really need to go to the hospital. Not a taxi. They are my hero's. They are a great group. Respectful and caring.
