  We have used Steve as our handiman in Brooklyn for the last 18 months. He is so responsive and so caring for the work he does. Would definitely recommend Steve for your home repair needs.

  Ambby's Construction is our go-to for any kind of work. It started with cleaning out the mess of a cellar - extremely dirty unpleasant work that they did not shy away from. They've done smaller scale plumbing, electrical, moved and converted a door (including the framing, advice on conversion to a pocket door, drywall, finish), extended a roof and did the gutter, fixed an improperly installed sink, installed a murphy bed, hung a large screen and blackboard, ... At this point it's hard to remember what all they've done.
  
  We like that they will be thoughtful of our needs and come up with ideas we did not think of ourselves. Examples:
  
  While fixing and reinforcing a roof access they advised us on adding a lock to the hatch to make sure that nobody can get in from the outside.
  
  While removing a wall and moving the related electrical they rerouted one of the outlets into the cellar which is missing enough outlets.

  We have used Ambby's Construction multiple times and by now they are the first we call for any kind of repair or remodeling work. Whether bathroom, kitchen, basement, concrete, stairs, doors, .... they do it all. Flexible, with attention to detail.
