  Ordered a bag online. Cheaper than any available online options for this Manhattan Portage bag. Received order confirmation same night and it took about 10 days to receive shipping notification. Arrived in 3 days great condition. Had previously read some reviews that online orders ran into issues. I did not experience any delays. Give the store a little time after ordering, it's a private business so likely took a few days to get the order together and shipped. Would order from here again!

  This is one of the best luggage stores in Manhattan. Attentive and polite staff, always available to help. The store is brilliant, everything is very well organized, clean, has air conditioning that makes shopping more comfortable, and they accept several credit and debit cards. They have a huge variety of brands and models of travel and executive bags, as well as accessories, with competitive prices. Definitely a great place to buy your suitcase.

  Had a very good negotiation to buy my new Briggs&Riley. Staff was very friendly, helpful and good vibes. If you are looking for a new high quality suitcase it is defintly worth to stop by.

  I placed an online order for a pen on June 2, with a quick response from Altman that they had received the order. On June 3 the purchase amount was processed by my bank. The last communication I had from Altman was on June 7 with a "shipping update" email that included a USPS tracking number, but didn't say that the item had actually shipped. USPS tracking for that number showed that a shipping label had been created, and that USPS was waiting for the package.
  
  Today is the 18th and USPS is still waiting for the package. Altman has not responded to three emails asking for an update, and I have had no luck getting anyone to answer their phone when I've tried, during their posted business hours and allowing for the time zone difference.
  
  This does not strike me as good business practice.
  
  Edit June 23: I finally managed to speak with someone on the phone this morning. Mike said he needed to investigate and would call me back, which he did in about an hour. He said that USPS showed the item moving through its system, though it still shows as "not received" through tracking. Mike said it should be in my hands within a week, so we'll see how that turns out.
  
  Edit June 25: The pen arrived today. Still not sure where it's been the past two weeks, but I'm happy with the result.

  Best luggage store in NYC, the Boss gave me a deal I can't say no to. Friendly & helpfull staff brought me the luggage i need two blocks away and a gentle Boss. The only store i'll come back to get my luggage needs. Thank you Altman Luggage 🙌🏻
