First and formost, Tim's expertise and craftsmanship is apparent in the final product of our exterior paint project. We're extremely satisfied with the work and the house looks revived and beautiful.
The reason why we chose Tim was due to his appreciation and respect for old Springfield homes. He immediately identified the possible pain points that would need addressing in a 100 year old craftman home (window glazing, sanding, cleaning, and color development). With that knowledge, he provided an incredibly reasonable estimate and went to work his craft. We love our home, and Tim delivered a quality of craftsmanship that fully respected that.

We have an old 1938 home and the interior was filled with 30 year old wallpaper. Tim removed the wallpaper and repaired all the walls to perfection. We chose a dark color for the kitchen cabinets which required at least three coats and he was as patient as could be, making certain it was perfect. Tim painted the entire first floor of our house and we love it. I would highly recommend Tim. He was professional and gave us a room by room quote and it was very reasonable! Hire this guy, you won’t be disappointed!!

We had Alternative Painting paint the outside of our house and it came out better than we could have imagined. Tim the owner gave his honest opinion on everything we needed to do and he did the rest. He is a perfectionist and very professional and polite. Great job and I would highly recommend, and would use again.
Tim does excellent work, is efficient, and fair. We had him paint quite a lot of the interior of our house and it looks fabulous. Not to mention at an affordable rate! I highly recommend Alternative Painters.
