Kevin was very nice, polite and patient with my questions. He was also very knowledgeable and informative. Since I am in the beginning stages of measurements and quotes, so far it has been a great experience.
Michael, technician, was here within 15 minutes of his phone call. He listened to my concern regarding my a/c unit, diagnosed the problem (bad capacitor), answered all my questions, showed and educated me on exactly what the problem was and how it could've been avoided. He also went over what I did correctly (close all windows and curtains) and what I should've done (turn the a/c completely off) when I noticed my a/c wasn't working. He also showed me all the pricing on his iPad prior to doing all the work, enabling me to make an informed decision. He promptly fixed the issue once diagnosed.
Ashley at the weekend call center and Michael, the technician, are great representatives for Allied Experts! They were very patient, professional, knowledgeable and understanding.
P.S.: Robyn/Robin at the weekend call center....very rude and dismissive. She does not actively listen and has no patience with stressed-out customers.
Today was mainly to get an estimate and hear about finance options. A decision cannot be made as to whether we will use Allied. However very happy with the thorough evaluation to assess our air condition that isn’t currently working. I need to wait until my husband can review results with the analyst.
I had an High Performance Energy assessment completed today. Mark was very thorough and explained everything clearly. He was professional and answered all my questions. I was impressed with the level of detail Allied/Mark captured on my home to include going in the attic and he shared the pictures. This made it clearer on how the work would result in energy efficiencies. I’ll get the results of the assessment soon and will know my net cost at that time for new AC, new Furnace, new hot water heater, better/proper insulation of the attic and new thermostat.
Working on behalf of PSE&G, my utility company, Allied installed a new furnace, air conditioner, and water heater, and also installed new insulation in my attic. They were very professional and timely. They also explained what they were doing, and communicated well. I would have given a 5-star review here; however, there were quite a few workmen (as expected), who all arrived more or less at the same time, so the initial experience was a little chaotic. I would encourage them to call the home owner 15-30 minutes ahead of the ETA. Time will tell, of course, about the quality of the products installed, which will hopefully function as intended, i.e., reliably and using less energy than the products replaced.
