  Great shop. Staff is really friendly. Didn't know they were in the neighborhood but I'm glad I found them. Will definitely be coming back.

  Have been using Alex’s B shop for years, and continue to find it to be an easy, reliable & friendly spot to relax, engage in good conversation, while getting a quality haircut!

  I’ve been going to Alex’s for a while now as have my two sons. (11 & 12) Not only is it a very relaxing and fun environment but they also give a great haircut. I’ve had several of the guys clean me up (from extreme to trim) and they’ve all done exactly as I’ve wished and left me happy as a customer. It may be a bit more expensive than a basic franchise joint but it’s your head/face and you’ve likely only got one of those so you should probably not jack it up with a garbage cut & trim. Easy to schedule, never a long wait, always a good convo.

  This place is very cool. Gabor cuts my hair and is skilled. He's also got plenty of personality. There is always good music and good hair products.
  
  I lived in NYC, and ATX and have been to some cool barber shops. Two years ago my wife and I decided to move out to Roxbury. After going to a myriad of terrible shops, my neighbor recommended Alex's. Once again I look forward to getting my haircut!
  
  Minor note they have a an Nespresso machine if you like espresso.

  These guys are the BOMB. Adam has always taken care of my beard, but the entire staff there are very professional and fun to be around.. love the atmosphere and the music they play.. keep up the great job..
