If you're looking for an actual professional with actual experience then he's probably the best choice. Learning piano is challenging but he'll definitely give you the tools to improve your facility. So far with his lessons and a little bit of practice I'm quickly improving my coordination. He's patient and he adjust the lessons and assignments based on what's unique for you.
What I enjoy about studying with Alexei Tartakovsky is that we explore music repertoire that is fun to play and motivates me to improve. He is an extremely talented pianist with a very effective teaching method. Based on my musical background and experience, he adjusts our lessons to the level of instruction that helps me improve my technical and performance skills. Thanks to Alexei's positive and encouraging teaching styles, lessons are always enjoyable. I would highly recommend him to those that are interested in accelerating their playing to the next level.
Alexei is a fantastic musician and teacher who has a lot to offer. He is an extremely accomplished musician. He is patient as he works with my son to solve whatever problems he may be experiencing. He pays close attention to the details when he is teaching.
