  Our mother has been at Alcoeur Gardens in Toms River for almost 2 years. She suffers from Alzheimer’s and the “at home” like environment has had a positive effect on her. Alcoeur is not a typical type of care facility, it is small and the level of care is impressive. We have found that the caregivers are friendly, caring and keep family members well informed. A finicky eater, they have gone out of their way to keep mom happy and well fed. We cannot say enough about their level of care during the pandemic. Their communication was amazing, making sure we were able to “FaceTime” to see her and chat with her frequently. We enjoy seeing the photos that have been sent too! She is in a clean, safe and caring environment. We have been extremely happy with care she has received. Tim, Julie, Debbie & Joe

  My mother has been at Alcoeur Gardens for 2 years and has been well cared for. Since they are a smaller facility they provide a more personal approach to her care. The environment is much more home-like compared to other options.

  As a hospice care coordinator, I find working with Alcoeur Gardens to be a wonderful experience. Alzheimer's is a heartbreaking disease, especially for the families, who have to make a decision to move their loved one to an assisted living. Alcoeur Gardens is just like home. The staff and management are so very kind, patient and compassionate.
