  We are so happy we picked this facility. After a long hospital stay the physical therapy staff had my Mom walking out of there in a week. Everyone she came in contact with treated her with respect and kindness.

  ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! This facility and its staff exceeded my expectations! I was one of the younger patients in the facility and at first, I thought it was going to be a nightmare like a prior facility I experienced, and boy was I wrong. The staff was so welcoming, warm and professional. On days when I didn’t feel like myself, they would come in with a positive attitude and encourage me to keep going (I needed that on my healing journey). The physical therapy team was exceptional!!! When I first arrived, I struggled with mobility and needed a walker and a wheelchair to get around to do simple task. Today I am proud to say that I am walking out with my head held high, one foot in front of the other (without assistance) and my independence restored. I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL!! Faith, willpower and a physical therapy team that doesn’t give up on you is life changing. The Supervisors of all departments are involved and willing to hear any concerns…not only do they listen…. they implement change in real time. How refreshing is THAT?!! The nurses and aides are such a joy. They are consistent with care and though the job can become overwhelming at times they do a great job of protecting the patients from that strain. I would recommend this facility to anyone who truly wants their loved one to be cared for in their absence. I will be back to visit soon, this time as a friend!!

  I was a volunteer at Alaris at Cedar Grove when I was a student and I loved all of the kind and talented staff, physical therapists, nurses---everyone. I was impressed by the tender care the staff had for their patients and residents, and I saw the genuine trust the patients and residents had when they were in their company. Alaris felt like a second home to me as a volunteer, and it was all because of the people inside of it. My favorite memory was helping in the rehab gym when the patients would come by in their wheelchairs just to stop and talk to the therapists, even when it wasn't their scheduled time for therapy. It made it very clear that everyone in this place was very loved and at home.
