    A private practice feel with large clinic resources. Dr. Chavez is a great doctor and a pillar in the community! Recently in private practice, he is now medical director of this small clinic location which is part of the larger AHF organization. The facility offers their own on-site pharmacy, phlebotomy drawing lab, and modern online health tools comparable to any large hospital or clinic. The staff goes out of their way to be friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Dr. Chavez is brilliant, experienced, knowledgeable and personable. Their on-site ”AHF Pharmacy - Chelsea” is awesome because they actually communicate back and forth with the clinicians so that you don’t have to, they offer delivery services, and they always answer the phone so speaking to a pharmacist is easy. In addition, 99 cents of every dollar earned by their Pharmacy goes to help support the world-wide work of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, providing healthcare and activism on behalf of people with HIV/AIDS throughout the developing world. A very interesting organization I am proud to help support.

    I heard about this clinic from a friend of mine. The staff upstairs is amazing! and it truly is free. I cannot express enough how awesome and welcoming the upstairs staff is.
    The only reason I gave four out of five stars, is because if the security you first meet when walking in. Since they are the first face you see they should be nothing but welcoming and friendly. Especially in a clinic of this type, where most coming are nervous and anxious to begin with. The personality of the security is comparable to airport TSA. Although I appreciate the security they provide in the clinic, they’re approachability is to that of bullies in high school. I’ve been here three times, and every time I ask a question or ask to be directed to the right location, the approach to me is as if I’m illiterate, and I’m automatically asking dumb questions.
    There should be a nurse or someone else at the front desk to ensure a welcoming environment for all. They’re attitude, just towards me is disappointing. I can’t imagine what has happened to others. Hopefully this will become resolved, because this is a great place for free care.
