  I would highly recommend Advanced Physical Therapy of Torrington. I have had two occasions to use their services. They have been very helpful in resolving my physical problems. I have found them to be very knowledgeable and compassionate in their care giving.

  Dr. Kevin Smith and his team at APT in Torrington are amazing. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable, professional and caring. This is my second ski injury, he has gotten me through. It’s extremely important to him to get you back to the activities you love. He develops a plan of care for you and revises it as needed. After a very bad knee injury, I’m back to skiing. This year, I fractured my proximal humerus, and I’m well on my way to another miraculous (in my words) recovery. He truly listens to how you feel and when you are having a bad day, he is very encouraging and gets you through it. His expertise and dry needling has also been instrumental in my treatment and recovery, increasing my range of motion, and helping with pain control. We are very lucky to have this team in Torrington and I would highly recommend them.

  I first visited Advanced Physical Therapy over 3 years ago when I had a torn meniscus. I spent a good deal of time with both "Kevin's" & their assistants. They all work together as a team, & they are a vibrant, fun-loving group. Even though I was in a lot of pain, I enjoyed every visit.

  I just want to tell you that the folks at Advanced Physical Therapy of Torrington are FLAT OUT EXCELLENT AT WHAT THEY DO!!! They are professional and first class. No "cookie cutter" programs for these PT experts. After a thorough intake session, they designed a custom program for me and as I progress they update it. Kevin and his team of physical therapists have earned their 5 stars.
