(December 12, 2021, 6:53 am)The Actor's Playground is top notch. As a local film school it can be difficult finding professional actors for our film student's projects on short notice. So we came to the Playground in search of actors and that was one of the best things we've done. Seeing how professional their students are reflects powerfully on the Playground's ability to shape actors and their futures. Plus, a good deal of them have worked on big-name projects like features and shows. So if you're thinking about attending the Actor's Playground, stop thinking about it and just join.

(June 9, 2020, 9:36 am)The staff at Actors Playground will become your family. This school has been a dream come true. My daughter started when she was 8, and now at 15 she still wants to go every day. Every day! It’s her place to be creative, stretch her comfort zone, feel special, hang out with like-minded friends, and learn how to be not only a better actor, but a better person.
The teachers help my daughter with auditions and she got into the high school program of her choice. -

Our youngest son was already involved in extra-curricular activities that he enjoyed, including recreational plays. However, when the local rec performing arts program was not offered in the spring of last year, we started looking around for other opportunities for him to perform.
That’s when we came across Actors Playground. We met first met Ralph and Dan, both so kind, welcoming, and easy to talk to. To be honest, we were not sure if we were going to sign up when we heard the school was for training actors and not for performances. Our son did a trial class and loved it! The rest, as they say, is history.
Within a couple of months, we had already developed a strong bond with Ralph, Dan, Rich, Meg, Grace, and Becky... What amazing and talented teachers! To say they are kindhearted is an understatement. You join the school and, not only your child, but you become part of their family. They understand how important it is to nurture and help a child grow.
Our son found a welcoming environment where he could safely explore and be himself. He looks forward to classes, and he always has fun there....really! His confidence has grown, even to the point that at the tender age of 9, he approached his principal on his own to make arrangements to bring the Mini Misfits to his school.
When the pandemic hit, the folks at Actors Playground have continued to reach out to their students, giving them multiple opportunities to continue to explore virtually. Despite all the disruptions in our daily lives, we still feel connected to everyone there.
Sometimes, you don’t know what you are missing until you find it. Thank you for all you’ve given us. We have seen an incredible confidence bloom. In this short time, we’ve noticed that our son is not afraid of talking to or performing in front of large crowds- a skill no matter what you do in life. He could not have a better support system. We are so happy we found Actors Playground! Highly recommended!! -

The staff is the most caring and motivating group of people that can relate to our kids. Whether your child wants to act or just learn tools to better communicate this is the place to be! Summer camps are a great way to start!! Thank you Actor's Playground for all that you do for our kids!! Life long friends are made here!!

(May 19, 2020, 7:26 am)Actors Playground School of Theatre....absolutely the best! The staff is knowledgeable, dedicated and talented. They love what the do and they are great with the students. My son has been attending classes since he was 11 and the only thing that will cause him to take a hiatus will be when he leaves for college next fall. Highly recommend for aspiring actors!
