  Amazing and welcoming library! The staff are very kind and helpful. Don't listen to the "people" leaving 1 star reviews. They are trying to spread misinformation.

  From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The library staff goes above and beyond to create a welcoming environment for all visitors.
  
  One thing that impressed me was their commitment to supporting students. They offer punch cards for students found studying, which is a fantastic incentive to encourage academic success. It's wonderful to see a library actively promoting and rewarding learning.
  
  The library's layout is thoughtfully designed with plenty of tables and computers available for use. Whether you're looking for a quiet corner to delve into a book or need a place to study with friends, this library has you covered. The abundance of tables provides ample space for everyone, ensuring a comfortable and productive experience. There are a few private study rooms / meeting spaces but fill up quickly.
  
  The availability of computers is another standout feature. With the rapid integration of technology into our lives, it's refreshing to find a local library that embraces this trend. The library understands the importance of providing access to digital resources and offers a range of computers for visitors to utilize.
  
  Overall, this cozy local library has truly won me over. Its welcoming atmosphere, support for students, and ample study space make it a standout in our community. I highly recommend paying a visit, whether you're in search of a quiet place to read or need a conducive environment to focus and study.

  Great public library! Well staffed. Make sure to check out the large tile mural in hallway which has a wonderful history of Connecticut and Old Saybrook area with one of a kind hand painted tiles and descriptions!

  I love this library and their consistency! I've had exams proctored here several times, and the staff is friendly and took care of me.
  
  I especially appreciate their hours, being open until 8:00 on most nights, which is great for studying in a town where coffee shops close at like 3!

  I found myself helplessly lost and stopped by the library today. A young woman who was fairly new to the town immediately helped me by printing out a map to my destination. I was so impressed by the friendly reception and use of the restroom! So nice to think you can still trust a library. As a senior, I do appreciate it! I also love books. I am a retired teacher who developed a teaching method which incorporated literature, dance, music and art, called Storybook dance. Well done !
