(April 14, 2023, 4:04 pm)My name is Carter, I’m going for my JR black belt soon. I joined AKT when Covid happened, right away I knew I wanted to do karate. I knew I wanted to go for my black belt when I joined black belt leadership! AKT has helped me with my self discipline & perseverance, like doing my chores without being told. Another example would be with my trumpet. If I would have given up I wouldn’t have made spring band. My favorite thing about going to karate is the atmosphere! Everyone is friendly and nice, the instructors are very helpful.

(April 10, 2023, 1:45 pm)My daughter started taking lessons at AKT when she was 5 and is now almost 9 and about to test for her junior black belt. She has really enjoyed her time learning martial arts and making new friends. Karate has helped her gain confidence and shown her how to set goals and take realistic steps to achieve them. The instructors provide a great balance of fun and seriousness so the students enjoy learning.

(April 8, 2023, 8:26 pm)Honestly I had tried other Martial arts establishment and either their prices were through the roof, they only thought of my family as a price tag one place my child ran out crying.
So when I walked into Action Karate Telford I spoke with Cheri and she treated me like a person not a price tag. I came by myself to talk to her and agreed to bring my son the next day.
When we came there was a sign welcoming my son to the class ( he thought that was so cool) Mrs. Cheri went through everything and 2 days later was my son's class .. he loved it! We came on Saturday and Mr. Angelo was amazing with my son ... HECK they all were wonderful.
Now my son to get the real benefits only needs two classes a week ( virtual option if sick)... well the first full week I was Messaging Mrs Cheri to see if there was any room for him in that days class.
So now Action Karate is a everyday they are open we are there. I absolutely love how you are family , they are always there with concerns and you are welcome.
If I could give them more than five stars I would.
Just give it a try you will thank me later! -

(March 26, 2023, 8:49 am)My daughter started Karate almost 3 years ago. She has always been very shy and quiet. Karate has been excellent at helping to encourage her to be more outgoing and vocal by highlighting her strengths and giving her a positive outlook on where she can grow and how to do that in steps that are more comfortable for her. I am grateful for all of the support of all the instructors that give their time every day! AKT is a great place!

(May 21, 2022, 12:50 pm)My son started at Action Karate Telford when he was 7 and worked his way all the way to through the jr program earning his jr black belt. That was quite the accomplishment for him, and he gained more confidence then he previously had. After that he asked me to join karate and work towards getting our first degree black belt together. Now I am taking classes and am a certified part time instructor and work events and birthday parties. Action is a big part of our lives and we are so happy to have made the friends we have and to call the karate school a second home.
