  I never ate in there but I eat from there and baby the homemade toast cheese grits and 3 eggs scrambled well done. The waitresses are sweet so tip them.

  No frills, old school diner with excellent food and service. The cream chipped beef with grits was fantastic!! I dropped my butterknife and the server immediately brought another one to me right away. I don't know about anybody else, but I give it two thumbs up!! Clean and mellow vibes all around. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area.

  I have been going to Ace’s for a home cooked breakfast a few times a month for at least 40 years. I have seen a few different owners over the years, including Harvey, the original owner. And the menu has stayed consistent. Like McD’s stays consistent. The homemade bread is still good, the grits are always just right, and the bacon or sausage patties are tasty. The pancakes are lite and fluffy. The fried fish is one thing that has changed over time, and not for the better. The staff are pleasant and courteous. I’ve driven from Atlantic City hoping I can get to Ace’s before they close to get a hearty breakfast.
