  Torri is an amazing physical therapist . She takes the time to watch and focus on your weak points. Torri is the perfect physical therapist to push you to get stronger. She is very knowledgeable and down to earth. The Saugerties branch of Access is very clean and up to date on their equipment. I enjoy every visit.

  I broke and dislocated my ankle as well as sprained it on February 15th. After major sugar and not walking for over 2 months I started at Access Therapy in Saugerties. James and Katie the team there was incredible!! They are amazing and know the right mix of gentle caring and hard work to make you walk again. Whatever has happened to you they will make better. I was scared to use the stairs or stand on one foot and I really never thought i would be the same again BUT James made sure i was back to normal and I am. Thank you so much!!!

  I give this company five stars hands down. Sophia in Athens is very good at her jobs. She came to see me at my home in Saugerties and she was like family right away. Very caring about my knee and well-being . I don’t care how far I have to drive to see her, She is worth it. She is vaccinated a plus and very clean. I also want to mention Densie in Woodstock she also is very very good and caring. They have never sent me home hurting. My needs are always taken care of. They should be given a trophy because they are that good.♥️♥️

  I've been very happy with my sessions at Access PT in Saugerties. James is very encouraging and professional. Especially during this time with Covid he is always wiping the table and equipment down and wearing gloves when appropriate. I was nervous about PT after my full knee replacement as I've heard screams from knee replacement patients at other facilities because their therapist was being too aggressive.
  James listens to my comments and will only go as far as i can manage ( well, sometimes just a bit more but that's a good thing!)
  I feel that I've made good progress in the first 4 visits and look forward to continued success getting to pain free movement with James.

Snow Shoveling Safety - ACCESS PT - Physical Therapy

When possible, push the snow away from the area you intend to clear with your shovel instead of lifting it. This can decrease the likelihood of losing balance or straining yourself. If you must lift, don't heap your shovel with full loads of snow. It may take longer to scoop less at a time, but your muscles will thank you for not straining them.
