(July 24, 2023, 5:43 pm)Right from the get-go, there were a lot of positive experiences with the Abington Manor staff, nurses, aides, administration, maintenance people - they care about you. They always returned calls, they showed their facilities to us along with their staff and I was very impressed with everything. They even changed the rug in my mom's space. The space where mom resides is spacious and functional for her. The food is very good and the aides are very helpful and they always try their best to help mom with her needs. My mom is cared for and very happy at Abington Manor, which makes me and my brother relieved, knowing mom is in good care at Abington Manor.

(February 23, 2023, 9:30 pm)Placed mama there for a short respite for a needed break for myself. She loved the food and the decor of the place. Very clean and always smelling nice. She was very happy there and so was I. No complaints , everyone was very nice and helpful, especially liked the 2 hr. overnight checks, mom is a heavy wetter, didn't want her soaked. Would definitely place her there again when needed. Thank you for a lovely stay.

There is always some measure of guilt when you have to move a loved one out of your home and turn care over to others – but I never felt any concern for how Dad was treated or cared for while he was there. Dad was always kept clean, and well fed, and well loved and cared for – you could not ask for a better place or better people. I could tell how well the staff cared for him, not only by what I could see - but from the stories they would tell me about his activities there. Dad has passed, but I am so very grateful that his last year was with people who truly cared about him

(May 7, 2022, 12:48 pm)We recently placed mom into Abington's Memory Care facility. Tomorrow will be Week 3. We are so happy with the staff and the facility is incredibly clean. The most important thing is mom is receiving excellent care and has adapted very quickly. The staff is genuinely caring and very friendly with all their residents. Mom has a private room with her own bathroom. The place is impeccably clean. I'm present several times a week. Mom always has clean clothes, washed daily, hair is combed. Dementia is a horrible disease. Abington is doing everything they can to care for and make mom feel as comfortable as if she were home. Thank you to the entire staff at Abington for the great job you're all doing to care for mom and keeping her safe. Mom was so happy when her grandson Matthew and fiance Erin visited last weekend. Love all the smiles.
