I needed a new key made for a sliding door (it had a lock but I didn’t have the key for it), and I was also hoping to rekey a garage door lock. Jim gave me a solid quote, fit me into his schedule quickly, and took care of everything (and provided additional key copies- thank you!). On top of that, he took extra care to talk through some safety points about the locks and doors to my house. I am so happy with the service and the result, and the next time I need a locksmith, I will definitely be calling Jim.

(November 8, 2022, 9:57 am)During a busy day I realized immediately after I locked the door behind me that I left my keys inside. Called up Jim and set up a time for when I was coming back. They checked my ID before opening the door which made me feel safe knowing they wouldn't just let anyone in! They have equipment right on the truck to make a spare key if needed.

(September 22, 2022, 9:17 am)The door wouldn't open. Its lock was 90 years old and would not budge. I called the first locksmith that popped up on a Google search: A1 Locksmith. Within two hours, Jim and his son were at my house, skillfully replacing the tumbler in that ancient latch and restoring it to like-new condition. The price was so reasonable that I tried to offer Jim more. He refused.
Exceptionally responsive. Highly competent. Friendly. Fair.
My actual rating for A1 Locksmith is six stars out of five.
