  10 room boutique hotel that feels like more like a luxury b&b. Beautifully manicured grounds with a nice pool and sauna. Free Rosé and water bottles, coffee all day, and free pastries in the morning. They’ll give you good quality chairs and towels, umbrella and a permit for the beach and even load your car for you. Swimming pool is great and the decor is top notch all around. Highlight is the service and staff.

  Weird and wonderful. The location is right off the main highway (Montauk Highway), and is right across from a school, which may have you confused if you are in the right place. Despite the adjacent road, the foliage keeps it pretty quiet in the garden space you enter as you turn off the road. Everything is very thoughtful, from the prepared firewood and firestarter for the firepit (which has cushioned chairs surrounding it and a free s’mores kit up front) to the bug spray and sun screen available up front, to the showers and pool accessories at the private pool. They also provide a parking pass for the beaches, along with chairs, bikes and towels. Something is very peaceful about the space, even though it is right on the main road and we felt well taken care of.

  A Room at the Beach is aptly named: it’s a short lovely bike ride from the beach, and offers a lush outdoor setting to come back to & recharge (lots of shade and flora)! Unique and personable. A new summer staple!

  This review is long overdue. I spent a few weeks at A Room At The Beach end of last summer 2021 for work and I must say I have nothing but good things when I speak on my experience. The staff was very helpful and sweet. Very accommodating. Rooms were clean and always set up nicely. Check in was easy and stress free. I’m definitely thinking of coming back this summer just to spend time in the area again!
