  Laura is an unbelievable person and she has literally given me my life back. I have struggled with back pain for 15 years and most recently I was in spasm for 5 months. Doctors, surgeons, physical therapists couldn’t do anything to help me get better... then I met Laura. My initial phone call with her intrigued me because she told me she could cure my back pain in one or two visits. It was the confidence that she spoke with that made me feel extremely hopeful about my chances. I had a epidural with a steroid injection scheduled a week after my first phone call with her. I never got the injection! She cured me in one visit! I’m talking 100% pain free. I have been running 4 miles and golfing without pain for weeks now and I can’t say enough about Laura and her approach. Trust me, if you’re suffering from low back pain(or any chronic pain at all) you owe it to yourself to see her. There is a better way out there and Laura will show it to you.

  Laura is incredible, and she changed my life in the best way imaginable. She approached me in January 2016 and said she could help me with my numerous pain issues. (A two-page list of injuries, trauma, and fibromyalgia) some of which I had been suffering with since childhood, and others over the past 30+ years due to injuries caused by abuse, and living a life outdoors. I had one session with her, and a few days later was about 40% pain-free. Two more sessions over the internet and I was about 80% pain-free, about 60% of the time. It's now July 2018, and I continue to improve. I am now 90% pain-free 90% of the time. If it never gets any better, I'm quite happy with that. I owe Laura my life because she gave me my life back. Prior to meeting her I was on my way to disability and was losing my independence. The last thing I wanted was to be in the system, and because of Laura, I'm totally independent, pain-free, happy and living life to the fullest I can.

  For the past two years, I suffered considerably from various body pains that ranged from stiffness in my hip to vertigo. Despite regular chiropractic treatment, I was little improved. When I developed planters fasciitis, I thankfully was referred to Laura Skutch who, in just 4 sessions, taught me techniques to regain my energy and heal my hurts. Laura is a kind and skillful massage therapist who does more than just manipulate your body: she helps you find your own way to sustainable and lasting health.

  I suffered with lower back pain for many years and visits to a chiropractor and sessions with a physical therapist resulted in only temporary relief… sometimes a few days, sometimes only a few hours. Out of desperation and unable to get through a day without thinking I must need surgery, I booked a session with Better Back Massage Therapy in Norwalk. I was encouraged when Laura told me that I do not have to live with back pain, and endless suffering will not be a part of my life. With all my visits to chiropractors and sessions with a physical therapist, no doctors told me there is a cure for my back pain just treatment. Laura, however, with her many years of helping people like me, said that I can live without lower back pain. After a few sessions, along with Laura’s positive attitude and professionalism, my lower back pain was well on its way to being a thing of the past. That was about twenty years ago, and today I am still living virtually pain free. Thanks to Laura I am back at the gym and enjoying activities I had to give up well before my first visit to Better Back Massage Therapy. Thanks, Laura, you are a life saver.

  My husband sent me to Laura for a relaxing hot stone massage with the hope that I would benefit from what so many others had shared about Laura’s ability to help heal back pain. I suffered from back pain throughout my 20s and assumed it would always be a part my life. On my first visit, I was comforted by Laura’s story of her own experience with back pain and her journey. After three visits Laura helped me to discover how I could manage my stress and change my thinking about back pain. I have been pain free since. Laura not only is a massage therapist, she is a healer. Her mind/body approach has been life changing for me. I can’t thank her enough.
