  We hired Alex during my second trimester with my first baby. And words are short to describe how AMAZING she was (and still is) since then. My birth was nothing like we had hoped due to unforeseen medical circumstances, but thanks to Alex and her support, I felt empowered to still make my own informed decisions and have peace with how things went by.
  My husband was hesitant at the beginning with hiring a doula, but that changed very quickly! Specially during our long labor, where in his own words “I don’t know what I would’ve done without her” so needless to say, she was of big support to both myself and my husband. Alex was overall a lifesaver!

  I cannot recommend Alex highly enough! As a first time mom, the thought of delivering in a larger hospital setting where I would not know the doctor on call made me nervous, and I was so thankful to have Alex there as a familiar face and advocate for me. From the moment I first spoke to her, I felt instantly comforted - she is someone who will help you make educated decisions and will never pressure or judge you. She is very evidence based and will give you all the information you need to make the right decision for you. What I loved most about Alex was that she was just as helpful and supportive throughout the pregnancy and afterwards as she was during the actual birth. She was always available to answer questions via text or phone call, and checked in on me often throughout the pregnancy. She also made two visits to our home in the third trimester to get to know us and our birth preferences. She gave us recommendations for a birth class and a photographer which were wonderful. During labor, when things were moving more quickly than anticipated, she came to the hospital at the drop of a hat and was helpful and reassuring on the phone when decisions needed to be made. She was a wonderful presence in the delivery room and got along with the entire care team.

  Alex is such a loving, knowledgeable, supportive doula! She is with you every step of the way from your prenatal care to your labor, delivery, and postpartum experience. She helped me build confidence in my mind and body to achieve a beautiful home birth. Alex was always there for me if I ever had any questions or concerns. I am so thankful for her love and support! She has become a part of our family and I would recommend her as a doula over and over again!

  Working with Alex was a blessing! A friend of mine recommended her to me, and she jumped on board with us at 34 weeks pregnant! I was grateful that she has availability for us last minute, and it turned out that we truly needed her experience and knowledge to be well prepared for the big event! Alex was very supportive of our wishes for delivery, and when the time came and everything seemed to quickly changed, she helped us talk through the decisions while never pressuring us to do anything. She was a great resource for my husband and gave him the confidence to help me through the process. Childbirth is an experience like no other, and having someone that has been through it, and can help you advocate for yourself is invaluable!

  Absolutely could not have asked for a better support system thanks to Alex. Not only was she supportive of me, but she was supportive of my partner and even he felt so much better simply with her presence. Alex made labor feel like such an amazing, relaxing experience and helped me feel confident in my mind and body through and through. I have learned so much from her and am forever thankful for her helping me bring my first born into the world.
