  Ryan Knox at 9 Iron Golf is one of the most dedicated and passionate coaches/teachers I have ever met and had the opportunity to work with. As a former PGA Professional, he adds a healthy knowledge of the game and swing mechanics with a geniuine care and connection with every student he works with. Those who seek his assistance and expertise are not clients with appointment slots to him. They are real people who Ryan truly gets to know beyond their individual swings. Ryan is wholeheartedly invested in developing the love of the game through instruction that feels more like you are hanging with a friend than going through the motions with a PGA Instructor just looking to make a buck and move on to the next appointment. I sincerely appreciated the short time I worked with Ryan last year with my high school golf team and my own swing. He made connections with our players and myself that will surely last a lifetime. His lessons are not over once the lesson package is complete. He keeps an open line of communication for all his golfers. Once a student of his, you are always a student of his. And in a world and a business that is often driven by money and number of clients, it is refreshing to be a part of something that is real and genuine like 9 Iron Golf. Ryan Knox loves the game of golf and the passion he shares when he teaches is inspiring. As a high school golf coach, I often lean on his model as the proper way to teach the game. So, if you want to start hitting more fairways and greens, and you want to learn how to do it with someone who cares about you and your abilities, then look no further. Ryan Knox is the instructor you want. He will work with what you have and not force you into the latest trends or completely change your swing just to get you hooked as a client for multiple lessons. It is that real, honest approach to teaching that sets him apart from all others in the business. I am truly honored to call him my coach and friend.

  Ryan was an excellent teacher. He works with what you have. He doesn’t try to reinvent your swing. He was very patient and accommodating. I have done both private lessons and playing lessons, and my game has improved tremendously. But as in any sport and he emphasizes this you must practice.
