I am a 7-Eleven taquito-oholic. The Monterey Jack chicken are to die for. So when I entered the 7-Eleven to get my daily dose I was frozen in shock, and in awe of the sheer, delicious assortment and variety of tasty treats before me! There is nothing more disappointing than walking into a 7-Eleven, and finding the hot food cases laid barren and empty. But what lay before me was a cornucopia of hot and tempting finger foods. All my senses were on pure overload, starting with the upbeat, salsa music, playing from the house speakers to the smells of the hot lunchtime snacks tickling my olfactory system. I was almost hit with decision paralysis from the bevy of delicious morsels. Of course I was going with my typical favorite of the three Monterey Jack taquitos, but considering it’s Friday and I had a little extra pocket money, I decided to splurge and get myself a cheeseburger slider and classic chicken slider as a treat to myself for a hard worked week. “ You deserve this” I said to myself sealing the deal. Last thing on the agenda is to grab my two Mountain Dew Code red sodas and make my way to the cashier. I was greeted by an extremely upbeat gentleman who greeted me wholeheartedly. I complimented him on the grand selection before me, and which he thanked me and told me that I was always welcome here at this establishment. I tipped my hat in response.
