Love this thrift store. The only downsides are that the screens they use to tell you the sale color(s) of the week are usually not working. With that being said, when they aren't working, you have to find an employee. That task is a lot of work too... but the employees are usually sweet and wonderful. There are a couple I've seen several times and my son loves to see them cause they interact with him (he's 3). The store is huge, the items are very nicely organized, and there's a self checkout which is great cause there aren't enough workers to cover the checkouts too. They are a little bit more pricey than some of the other stores but in all they are great
2nd avenue thrift store is an amazing place. Everything there is a steal, whether it’s an xbox 360 for $30 or vinyls for a dollar, you can get everything you want at thrift store price. I live far from here, but go once or twice a month because of how great this location is
This store is HUGE for a thrift shop!
It is well organized, and there is plenty of space. The aisles are wide enough for people with shopping carts to easily pass by each other. Clothing and shoes are arranged by size, which really saves time when shopping.
Other items and areas are also well organized.
There are plenty of fitting rooms, currently open for use, and tended by an employee so that they are available fairly to all, and kept clean and uncluttered by other people's discards. I even saw the attendant disinfecting surfaces of fitting rooms after each use!
Yes, the prices is this shop are a bit higher than most thrift shops, but the labor involved in maintaining the organization of stock, and even sanitizing areas used by patrons doesn't come free.
It's still FAR more affordable than regular retail!
