  An elite level BJJ school for all grappling practitioners: no-gi, wrestling, gi, standup, newaza. Instructors are friendly, highly skilled, and have a holistic approach to comprehensive wellness, often providing wellness coaching sessions. School invites specialists to give talks on all topics and promote community as a part of well being. The school has a sauna, fitness equipment, and cold plunge, offering a ton of classes throughout the week, including gi glasses. Conveniently located right off northern state parkway and LIE.

  I just joined this week and have attended two no-gi fundamental classes so far. Steve taught both of the classes, and it’s an understatement to say he’s an incredible instructor. He has a deep understanding of anatomy and health that he integrates into the class. He begins each class with detailed information about a specific skeletal-muscle group followed by calisthenics that we preform that focus that muscle group. He’ll then begin demonstrating techniques, with thorough explanation to how and why each step is preformed, that we then drill with our partners. Throughout the drills, Steve is helpful and encouraging, and seems to genuinely care about the progress of the students. The classes are cohesive in that the individual techniques we learn throughout the session, can all be applied in our final drilling.
  
  Despite having no experience and not knowing any other members, I felt very welcomed. I’ve only had positive interactions with fellow members thus far. The partners I’ve rolled with have been respectful and considerate. The culture in the gym feels like we’re all a team trying to improve together.
  
  This gym also highly values cleanliness, which is very important to me. The members I’ve interacted with seem to be very mindful of their hygiene.
  
  In the sign up process, Chris was helpful and informative in answering my questions about the gym. He keeps the sign up process quick and easy. Overall, this is a fantastic gym, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into jiu jitsu, and improve their health and wellness.

  It's so much more than a jiu jitsu gym. Steve and his coaches have built an awesome family that you can be proud to be part of. Whether you want to compete or learn a new skill/hobby they have classes for you and also a weight room to help with fitness/weight-loss goals and cold tank/suana for recovery. As an added bonus they host seminars and grappling events.

  If you are a small woman who wants to learn how to defend yourself but intimidated enrolling in a bjj school which is a predominantly male sport, this is your place. You have to at least try a class. They have kids womens and fundamental classes..I have already learned a lot in the 2 weeks that Ive been going. It is a very welcoming gym with great people. Ego will have to be left home coz it is non existent here. The owner Steve and all instructors are very helpful in giving tips and making sure everyone’s safe during classes. The culture is very nurturing for scared beginners like me. Also a bonus that they have a lifting area(for strengthening)Ice bath and Infrared Sauna. Goes to show they do care about their students health and recovery as much as teaching the sport. Love everything about this place.

  Awesome school, very knowledgeable and friendly instructors. Compared to more traditional schools, the vibe is much more chill. The variety of class offerings (from fundamentals thought intermediate and advanced) provides for opportunities for great training regardless of experience level.
