  Booking through the owner was easy and straight forward. Location was excellent! Many activities for all ages. Our group of 10 (ages 3-67) enjoyed fishing, kayaking, paddle boat, the pool, beach, walking, s’mores around the fire pit , visiting the No. 9 mine, making blueberry jam, and a dining area that accommodated the whole group at one time. A memorable vacation was had by all. Would highly recommend.

  ScatterJoy is the epitome of a perfect rental. The house, property and location combined to make this a wonderful getaway. In terms of the house, it is spacious, comfortable and well appointed with modern and tasteful amenities. The large bedrooms, new bathrooms, open plan first floor and various features all made for a terrific stay. The property is secluded but not remote, with beautiful views of the lake and gardens. And the location is less than two hours from NYC. Our group had a terrific time and we will certainly be back.

  Our family of 4 had a very relaxing time at Scatterjoy for a short 4 night winter stay. The house was exactly as expected. It has a great layout and is beautifully furnished. We prepared all of our meals in the well appointed kitchen while our kids spent a lot of their time in the game room. We really enjoyed the hot tub despite the 20 degree temperature. Tod was easy to work with and very accommodating. We look forward to returning in the summer to take advantage of all of Lake Naomi’s amenities.

  I have loved all of my visits to ScatterJoy. You feel like you're in a storybook while you are there. It is so incredibly relaxing and peaceful. It's also the perfect house and getaway for social distancing during the pandemic. The home is very large, and all of the rooms and bedrooms feel very cozy. However, there are many personal touches that make the house feel very cozy. You have a private beach right on the lake. It's perfect to sit outside and relax with your own waterfront view. There are a number boats for recreation as well. I personally love the walks around the house and the beautiful, peaceful area surrounding ScatterJoy. This house is the perfect spot to really get away.

  This is a beautiful property that you can tell has been very well maintained over the years. Contacting the owner was simple from the beginning and so was communication throughout our stay. The home has a personal touch and all of the amenities for the lake (boats, beach firepit, etc) makes the view even more beautiful. I can't wait to return!
